Adsense Login

Adsense Login: Simple Adsense Login Steps

The Google Adsense Login process is easy. Though, you will first need to sign up for a Google account to do so. Once you have your Google account set up you can then access many other tools and programs, apart from just your Adsense login: Programs like Google Gmail, Google Docs, Youtube, Documents, Google Reader, and many more…

Many people are making good money by using Google Adsense on their sites, so it is worth the effort to spend a few minutes setting up a Google account Adsense login.

Please not: Depending on which website(Google or Adsense) you start from to create your Google Adsense account, you will probably see totally different pages(though the Adsense login process is the same).

Google AdSense Ads Behind Login Can Be Relevant

A Google AdSense post shares an old tip to AdSense publishers about how Google can return relevant ads even when there is a login required to see the ad.

The issue is, Google’s ad targeting feature works by sending a Google spider to read the page. If the spider/bot cannot read the page, the ads might not be on target to the content on the page.
The way around that is to give Google’s ad bot a way to read the page behind the login.

To grant the AdSense crawler access, log in to your AdSense account and click on ‘Account settings.’ From there, scroll down to the ‘Access and authorization’ section and click on ‘edit logins’ next to crawler logins.

Using Adsense on Login Protected Areas? Allow the Crawler to Access Them

There are lot many pages on web as password protected. For example, if you are running a Moodle based e-learning platform then in most of the cases it asks for login ID and Password for entering in the system. Or if you are running a paid forum where people need to enter ID and password after purchasing the subscription for premium support.

Now if you want to monetize from those protected areas or web pages using Google Adsense then you need to authenticate the Adsense Crawler to access those pages so that Google can server keyword based relevant ads. Google Adsense Crawler is different from Google Search Crawler and it doesn’t have any default ID and Password to access the data for cache purpose like Google Search Crawler.

To authenticate Google Adsense Crawler for accessing the data from protected areas, you need to use the option “Site Authentication” under Google Adsense Admin. Enter into your Google Adsense Account and go to Adsense Setup ==> Site Authentication. Now provide the details like Authentication URL i.e. the page (authentication page) where you need to enter User ID and Password.

Some AdSense publishers unable to login, starts endless loop with Google account login

To start with, if you are having a panic attack and think Google must have suspended your AdSense account, chances are pretty good that your account is fine, but it is Google having login issues instead I will be posting updates on Twitter at @jenstar as things change.

If you are trying to login to your AdSense account and having problems, Google is definitely having issues. When you go to the main AdSense login page, the landing page is different, but gives you a link to login. But once you click the link, it takes you to the generic Google account login. Which is fair enough, but once logged in to that, when you click the link to the AdSense account within your Google account, it takes you back to the initial different looking AdSense landing page, where the loop is repeated.

So here is the new look landing page… note that it seems to be there to attract potential new publishers rather than being something useful for regular publishers since there is no login boxes on this page. Click the image to view it normal size.

AdSense Login to Update to Google Account

If you’re currently using a non-Google Account to login to Google AdSense account, or has a separate AdSense logins with another Google Account which comes with some Google services such as Gmail, you will have to update the AdSense login to a Google Account. This will definitely solve the confusion for some Gmail users who reset Google Account password instead of AdSense password as currently, even if you use Gmail address to login to AdSense, it’s not necessary linked and associated with the Google Account.

After switching over to login with Google Account, there are plenty of benefits, most importantly is once you sign in to Google Account, you will automatically and directly come to AdSense stats page, instead of having to sign in again. Others, as Google says, “Your AdSense login signs you into AdSense. A Google Account signs you into all things Google.”

We will soon be requiring all our publishers to update their logins to a Google Account . This change will provide you with enhanced security and will make it more convenient for you to use other Google products with just one account.

Google AdSense Forcing Publishers To Update Login Account Now

We have been telling you this will be coming for a while now. It now appears that many Google AdSense publishers are being forced to update their login information from their current username and password to a Google Account.

A WebmasterWorld thread reports that Google seems to have removed the “skip as of now” option, when logging into Google Adsense. By removing that option, publishers are being forced to switch over to a Google Account.

AdSense publishers are calling this a “nightmare.” One explained, “Nightmare, indeed. I created a new google account and replaced my old login credential. It’s annoying because everytime I login to adsense my gmail logs out.”

Google Accounts landing soon

Spring is a time for change, when couples fall in love, the trees bloom — and swallows and AdSense publishers both begin their migration. That’s right, we’ve just started our first Google Account migration tests for older AdSense accounts. When you log into your account, you may be greeted by a screen like the one below, asking you to upgrade your login to a “Google Account”.

We’re rolling out this migration slowly, so please don’t be alarmed if you don’t see this wizard in your account yet. If you like the email address you’re already using, in most cases you’ll be able to upgrade it to a Google Account and keep the same login and password. However, if you use another email address for other Google products like Gmail and Picasaweb, you already have a Google Account and you can finally use the same login for AdSense. Please note, however, that at this time it’s not possible to update your login to an email address that is already being used as a login for AdWords or another AdSense account. We’re working on fixing this, and you won’t be required to migrate until we do.

Finally, please keep in mind that only older AdSense accounts need to be migrated, so you may not be affected. You’re also welcome to skip the migration wizard for now if you like, although this means you may miss out on some cool new features!

For low bandwidth users, it takes long time to load the ajax interface.

Making Money with AdSense, Affiliate Programs, Blogs and Websites

Lets face it, this economy is hurting and many people and non-profit companies are not doing well. Creating informative websites and blogs can be relatively easy to do. These sites can produce extra cash for the owner and can be created at very low cost. Money can be generated from the web by joining the AdSense and affiliate programs. Joining the AdSense program and becoming an affiliate is a simple as filling out a form. Even, with the downturn in the economy, there still is opportunity to raise extra money for yourself or for the organization. This blog will give you some ideas and suggestions on how to earn some extra cash by creating a website and/or blog.

Although, we want to make money, it is more important to focus on creating good content than to try to make money at this point. Remember, the more people coming to the site, over and over again, will generate more revenue for your site. First, worry about creating good content, and the ad revenue will follow. Therefore, the first thing should be done, is to decide what the content is to be. When choosing content, pick something that you are interested in. If you like reading books, do book reviews and suggestions on what to read. If you are interested in software for children then reviews of software might be the answer. Many titles have trial versions and demos where you can have enough time to get to know the software and write the review without having to pay for anything. Writing about your hobby can increase your knowledge of the hobby and make it easer to create content for the site.

For non-profit groups, it might be best to create a different site with a different domain name to run advertising on, instead of your main site. Creating a blog or site to generate advertising revenue can make it look like you are promoting commercial products and can make the non-profit page look tacky with ads on it. Creating a different site isolates your main site from attempting to generate money.
